Our Associates

The team that makes it happen.

A Quick Overview

We have many associates who serve our clients in a wide range of roles. Below is a quick overview of what we do.

A Client Executive is your single point of contact with us and will help develop the partnership. Their primary objective is to open a direct line of communication with your leadership and your volunteers. They will continually monitor, modify, evolve, and upgrade our services in anticipation of your needs. Find your organization’s Client Executive here.

Our Claims Services Manager provides a timely and critical response when a loss occurs at your location. She is an ally to you in shepherding your claim, whether it be property damage or bodily injury, through the claims procedure to its resolution.

Our Director of Risk Management Education develops our educational resources and coordinates MJ Sorority Events. Our Director of Communications develops our external communications, such as newsletters and risk management bulletins, as well as administers our website.

Our Senior Account Manager is primarily responsible for Certificate of Insurance requests and the corresponding contract review.

Our Account Manager is responsible for contact management, as well as myriad other tasks that support Sorority Division associates.

Providing outstanding account service takes a strong commitment to excellence. The keys to helping you manage risk to the lowest possible cost is having the skilled people, automation technology, and work process designed to deliver high-quality service.

FAQs

Have questions about any of our services or resources? We have answers–and you can find many of them in our handy FAQ section.

Does MJ Insurance approve events?
No, MJ Insurance offers recommendations based on prudent risk management. Your national organization has the ultimate decision as to the approval of your event based on your organization’s risk management policies and the specifics of the event.
Are all activities covered by the insurance policies?
The General Liability policy covers premises, as well as operations liability. Premises liability means that coverage exists for claims arising on owned or rented property. Operations liability means that coverage exists for any typical event that is held off premises.
Do we have to provide workers’ compensation coverage to our employees?
If you have employees, you are required by law to purchase workers’ compensation coverage.
How long does it take to process a Certificate of Insurance?
It depends on what exactly is required by the specific venue and the nature of the event. We require two weeks’ notice for Certificate of Insurance/Event Review requests.
