Heather graduated in 1997 with a B.A. in criminal justice from Indiana University. Upon graduation, she worked with Indiana Insurance (formerly OneBeacon and CGU Insurance) as a Casualty Claims Adjuster. After four years with Indiana Insurance, she accepted a position at American Family Insurance. While at American Family, she worked as an Adjuster and a Claims Supervisor. In 2007, Heather joined the Sorority Division as an Account Manager. She is responsible for claims management.

Heather is honored to be a special initiate of Chi Omega Fraternity. Heather and her husband, Dan, have two children, Parker and Maura, as well as an English Setter named Thatcher and a Miniature Dachshund named Abby.
